As Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear continues its mission to support families experiencing housing instability in achieving sustainable independence, the Board of Directors announces the appointment of a new interim Executive Director, Angie Hill.

Angie joins our organization with over fifteen years of experience in nonprofit leadership, most recently serving as the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern North Carolina. Her track record of strong leadership makes her the perfect fill  to uphold the high standard of service and support that our families depend on.

“I am honored to join the Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear team and continue their vital work supporting families experiencing homelessness. Together, we will build upon the organization’s strong foundation and create even greater opportunities for families to achieve stability and independence.” – Angie Hill, Interim Executive Director, Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear.

Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear will continue its programs and services without interruption during this transition, supporting families to rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

In 2023, Family Promise of Lower Cape Fear:

●     Provided support and resources to 3,347 families at our day center.

●     We served over 400 children across all programming.

●     Our shelter program successfully housed 23 families, providing them a pathway towards permanent housing.

●     Through targeted case management, we helped 100% of families enrolled in our programs gain the skills and resources needed for long-term stability.

We appreciate the continued support of our community and stakeholders during this transition.
